St. Joseph cabinetry featured in 2008 Cavalcade Home

Scott Eckstein from James Scott Custom Builders wanted a new look for the kitchen that would be a part of the home he created for this year’s 2008 Cavalcade of Homes in the Stewart Ridge development off of Heggs Road in southwestern Plainfield.

“This is a style of home we’ve been building for 15 years,” Eckstein explained.  “We wanted to completely revamp the kitchen because we added a sunroom off the dinette.  We wanted this new kitchen to be something new and unique, that would take advantage of the views off of the sunroom.”

James Scott Custom Builders’ model home Jessica Rae, a four-bedroom four-and-a-half bath tri-level, is one of eight homes showcased in the 2008 Cavalcade, which began June 28 and runs through July 20.  This is the James Scott’s eighth entry and seventh year of participation in the annual Cavalcade, which is sponsored by the Northern Illinois Home Builders Association.

St. Joseph Cabinetry & Designs will soon be in our new showroom at 129 Commercial Drive, Yorkville.  We will have approximately 8,000 sq. feet to showcase many beautiful cabinetry designs.  We are looking for a qualified kitchen designer who would like to be a part of this exciting process. 

The ideal candidate should have three years experience designing and selling Kitchen and Bath projects.  Candidate must also possess Great Communication Skills, Sales Experience, Computer Skills, Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and be highly efficient in 20/20 design software.  Candidate must forward personal portfolio to be considered for an interview.  Candidate must also consent to a credit check and a background check.
